Project Description
The Kensington is a 27-story residential high-rise on the border between Chinatown and The Theater District of Boston. The building's facade consists primarily of precast concrete panels, aluminum winodws, and an undulating unitized aluminum curtain wall system.
Scope of Services
With a scope including vertical facades as well as roofing and below-grade waterproofing, CDC provided the design team with technical consultation through the stages of the design process. CDC's field-presence began at the on-site mockup, continued through field testing, and continues with ongoing commissioning roofing and vertical facades.
