Project Description
This 163-foot, one-story Catholic church is the first cathedral built in the 21st century. The worship space is a vesica pisces shape created by the intersection of two circles. The walls are composed of overlapping panels of wood and glass, rising skyward to form the vault.
Scope of Services
Along with the reviewing and commenting on the design of this building, CDC served as a witness on the performance mock-up and provided an associated report. CDC also reviewed and commented on shop drawings and structural calculations, performed site observations and reports, and witnessed the site water testing.
